Well, it's safe to say that I'm not getting first place, there's at least one song in the MAC better than the one I'm going to submit. =P The only thing holding this back is that it's not like, uber sad. But yeah I've been giving you feedback on this for like a month now, is good.

the beginning is was way too repetitive for my liking, and i didn't like the synth you start off with. at 1:36 the ....guitar?? kicks in and i also didn't like that synth a whole lot. the percussion was excellent though, except you went a little crazy there eq-ing the kick, imo, overboard on the low frequencies. the melody, although repetitive, was catchy. the gate should've been louder, or you should've had a pad. at the part starting at 1:36, for instance, it would've sounded a lot better with a pad, maybe sidechain the pad with the kick since the kick's really heavy, i think that'd sound cool. the bass should've been louder as well. my suggestion would be to go back and make it less repetitive and add some more stuff so it isn't as empty sounding. this review had a lot of criticism, but overall i still think it's a pretty good song. good work ^_^

Hm ok first of all, I'm not sure what you are calling the pad. This was a fun little song that I did. There are 4 synths in it:
1. The arp in the beginning
2. The gated and sidechained pad that comes in before the kick.
3. The Distorted synth (NOT A GUITAR) that comes in later with the main melody.
4. The bass that's down there.

Yeah, about EQing... its kind of hard for me, based on my speaker system. However, it could possibly be your system too... when I get some Sennheisers, I'll be able to mix much better. Plus: I didn't master this as I would usually do. I felt it was alright just out of FL.

That bass... it was having a lot of trouble cutting through the mix. Its already pretty loud, but to cut the tail off of the kick would kill alot of that nice mid-range-y gabber-ish stuff that I like in a more hardcore kickdrum.

Yeah, its repetitive because I mostly made it in a day. I'd be happy to sit down (on AIM) with you and work it through, then call it a collab. I just threw out some basic ideas here, but I'm not good at making it into a full tune.

arkanoid isn't by rob mayth, the original is from the game "arkanoid" silly =P maybe you knew that but the way you put it made it sound like he made the original.
arkanoid is actually my fav one, but i can see how you'd have trouble making that a full song. if flows into melo 16 quite nicely, maybe you could figure out how to combine them =P melo 14 ftw was pretty good. i didn't like the original "jam" bu B0UNC3, so i didn't really care for this one either...
overall these are good, look forward to seeing at least one of these finished. 10/10.

Yeah. Arkanoid is from the game I know, just I realized people would probably recognize "We are the best" by Rob Mayth. Thats why I called it arkanoid remix instead of We are the best remix 8D. I loved the melody and it was kind of a last minute addition cause I was like mmmmmmmm I like it. Melo 16 is awesomeeeeeeeeee I love it. Melo 14 was the one I've spent most time on...

In all, If any of them are going to be finished I'd say it would be melo 14 or 16. Except the end of melo 14 just repeats because I ran out of ideas so I repeated that slidey synth.

I love jam 8( how dare you! Jk, its good... B0UNC3 said he was gonna finish his jam mix and he got some ideas from mine 8D so thats pretty cool I guess.

i liked the intro a lot. then when the drums come in, it got really good. this is really creative, i like this a lot. i think you still could've used some more synths though later on in the song to keep it interesting, but that might take away from the relaxing feel of the song. but hey, really good, 9/10 and 5/5!

it's a little bit better than the second one. i don't like how when it's in full swing you sidechained it so that the saw is only audible on the offbeat - it's a really nice melody, it's kind of annoying when you don't hear all of the notes. and if you make a 4th one, please use the glockenspiel again? the first one had a glock, i miss that glock.
but yeah, 10 out of 10, this completely blows anything i've made out of the water.

Hm a glock... I must have missed that.

The reason i sidechained this is because the melody is played with chords so it's extremely loud... So the sidechain helps to tone it down a little bit.

pretty good

mm you probably could have taken it easy with the high frequencies on the saw. this has a lot going on in the high end but not in the low end. the kick needs to be heavier, the bass is alright. good job on the percussion overall, and it's not too repetitive or anything like that. good job overall 8/10 and 4/5

im too inexperienced, i only adjust volumes and stereo channels to keep it a little clean from blowing the sound to 0db at every kick :P

The lead by the way gets Legato if 2 high pitched and mid bass cross, so i didnt have much choice of making it really high...
